Has awaited for me this morning in my car. I saw the papers and CDs thrown out of the glove compartment. First I thought that my husband was looking for something but then I realized that we left the car yesterday evening together and I was the one sitting at the passenger's place. So, somebody broke into our car. Actually they didn't break in most likely, we think that we just forgot to close it. We were tired, after the Israeli dance class and a shopping, our hands were full of stuff and we were eager to get home. And with our car it's very easy to check if the car is locked or not. Fortunately we didn't have anything in the car except copies of my documents and our CDs. The thieves were obviously not very excited about Queen, Sting and Goat Rodeo music (about that one I'll tell later, it was the present from our austrian friends it it would be actually a big loss for us). They didn't notice the USB charger either. The only thing I'm concerned of is my Social Security number which was among the papers and even quite visible. On one hand I think I should report it, on the other I'm afraid that it could slow again the process of my permit which has stuck again....
Tomorrow I have an appointment at the local USCIS office. Hope to end up with some result, I don't like the idea of going to the long Thanksgiving weekend in the "pending" status again...
