Back from Heaven

Well, that was a marvellous vacation. We felt like it was not 2 weeks but a month or something like that if we think how much different experience we've tried there out. I don't know why but we never thought that Hawaii was such a various place. At one day you could melt on the beach and at the same day freeze at the top of the mountain. We also didn't know that it was so much about those Volcanoes. First that we saw the volcano stones we didn't event realize it was them. We though it was a fresh-digged ground and were puzzled about the goal of that.

It is not the only type of the lave though. The other one looks even much more impressive:

But of course there is not only lave at Hawaii, there are also wonderful beaches

We did canoeing, of which we unfotunately almost don't have Photos since we didn't take our cameras with us, only this one at the start:

Also we rented a kayak once and went with it to the Captain Cook's monument to snorkle. It was reaining hard, so we didn't stay long and we didn't take cameras either, they would get wet even not taking the ocean into account. The funny thing is that you cannot land your kayak at the shore, it's not allowed. So you just had to go there and jump into the water right from your kayak and never touch the ground. That was an interesting experience for me.

Again, there are no photos of my snorkeling. There is this drawing which represents it quite real though:

I don't knot how to turn it, it doesn't react on any my attempts, sorry:)

I also tried diving for the first time in my life. Not like with an air-baloon, but just with the snorkeling gear. Yesterday, on Big Island at one of the bays we were lucky to see a group (if that's the proper word) of dolphins very close! There was lots and lots of them, and they stayed around for a very long time. We were swimming with them for about half an hour and they very there before and stayed much longer than we did! Here you can see a little bit of them, the picture was taken from the beach and doesn't pass the real impression of that animals on a 2 meter distance from you.

That is just a small part of those interesting things we saw there....

But now we have to go to sleep, tomorrow is a working day.

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYBODY!
